Every time we harvest coffee, only about 20% of the cherry becomes the beans we roast and brew. The other 80% — the fruit, the husk, the pulp — is usually discarded. But not anymore.

♻️ Why Coffee Husk Compost?
Our coffee husks are more than just a byproduct. Once dried and aged properly, they become nutrient-rich organic matter full of:
- Potassium – essential for fruiting and flowering
- Nitrogen – fuels lush leaf and root growth

🌱 How to Use It
There are two easy ways to apply Coffee Husk Compost:
1. Compost It
Mix the dried husks into your home compost pile with dry leaves, sawdust, or kitchen scraps. After 2–3 months, it becomes dark, rich compost your plants will love.
2. Use as Mulch
Sprinkle a thin layer around the base of mature plants (avoid seedlings). It helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and slowly release nutrients into the soil.
⚠️ Note: Because coffee husks can contain traces of caffeine and tannins, we always recommend composting before direct use on delicate plants or germinating seeds.
